After resting her paw in the cool water, she began looking for a new home. Her search lead her to a canyon where she looked for a cave.
, It had been a long time since she ate. Her stomach grumbled loudly. She was hungry enough to eat a moose, but she would settle for the dead rabbit she saw on the canyon floor, it seemed to be a fresh kill. She was too hungry to worry about who had killed it and began eating. From behind the boulder, she heard a deep low growl.
Ella jumped back with her beautiful fur all hackled, and readied herself for a fight. Suddenly a large black wolf appeared. It seemed Ella was eating his dinner, he sprang in the air and landed on Her. Fur flew as they fought. Both animals landed on their feet for a breather, and as they looked in each other’s eyes, neither one wished to continue the battle.
Jack had been alone for so long he had given up hope of finding a friend, and there she stood all teeth and ears pinned back. Jack picked up his meal and sat it at her feet and then he waited.
