What a pleasant short poem. It ticks off that part of the brain that brings simple pleasure akin to a shot of bourbon or a small pinch of tobacco. Enjoyable short moments in life that will be remembered for a long time. I liked it. CD

Thank you CD,
It's not as smooth as Bourbon but I'm glad you enjoyed it
ahahahaha oh what a memory you sparked for me...barely married i attempted some healthy hippie grain filled bread ..i was so proud...the smell and consistency ..and when out of the oven ..three bricks is what i had ;{ i am not kidding...i think each loaf weighed in at 5 lbs. ..nice job ... your free verse has a certain stregnth in the rhyming ... and i think you lines are a natural, easy rhythm ..love the humor ;)

Personal pizza is good sometimes. When dinner rolls are retired. Some sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Thank you Cherrie for sharing the amazing words and thoughts.

i relate not only to your writing, but to where you are from...one of my best friends was from Bull Shoals...she passed several years ago at a pretty young age...i also managed in a pizza place, where i had met her, for 27 years...
