Blackened Day

Blackened Day

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

a little morning fun for this rainy day while waiting to put my granddaughter on the bus

"

Blackened morning, dark as night

Fills my thoughts, with dread and fright.

Cold dead air, without a breeze

Grips my feet, makes weak, my knees.

Eerie sound, comes my way,

Telling my anxiety, it’s time to flee.

But true fear, make lead my feet.

Forcing me to wait for

 What comes this way.

Then my alarm, sets me free

And a blackened day is what I see.

I was h as having a bit if morning fun with my granddaughter while we waited for the school bus.
From out of the blue anxiety came & drenched thee more than the pouring rain....and then it left behind another blackened day...... that's just about how it happens some times.... nicely writ my friend.... N

Some of our nightmares can feel intensely real as our subconscious lives out our greatest fears.
Wonderfully written.
