Forever and Always

Forever and Always

A Poem by Cherrie
"

love

"

My day doth spin with thoughts of you

And my mind falls fast, in lingering moments once consumed.

The beat of my heart sets time to your own and

my soul is void, when my hand, you do not hold.

Vitality of youth brings color to my day and

harmony exhaled sends peace my way.

Proof of life is in steady feet and the path to my heart

is most plain for you to see.

Cradled in your care and lips laced in a kiss

And more of the same is all I can wish.

This rose I spy here where we once met, is waiting on you

With this message attached:  XoXo

again and again.

You write with immense love and passion, it is beautiful. I don't normally like romantic poems, but this was so subtle and sweet.

You are one of my favorite writers, alive or dead, I think just my spirit is attuned to your natural voice. I'm not certain what that is, perhaps a likeness of soul and mind, and the romance that makes a good poet write, I guess in conclusion, it's the topics you write about that most appeal to me!
