Lasting MemoriesA Poem by CherinMy friend, Gail, just passed away Sunday morning in her sleep. She was 52. It wasn't such a shock, until I started to relive our friendship through this poem I made for her, to place into her casket. I will miss you Gail!It no longer matters, what "They" think
Your life was filled with struggles
And here i sit with memories
Remember:
The Shoot & Stab with all your friends
You never made it to my cookout
Pages of our lives kept turning
Now everything is quiet
And when I get to heaven Cherin 08/29/08 © 2008 CherinAuthor's Note
