BOOM!  Goes the room

With a rip roaring pop

A streak of light

Soars from the sky top

 

The countdown begins

From the moment of birth

The days that you live

Are numbered on earth

 

Stand tall!  Reach high

To the heavens above

Mark your words here today

Give thanks with your love

 

Cleanse your spirit

In water and prayer

May the spirit rest with you

In a heart that is pure

 

Give praise to Lord God

Sing with heart that is true

May you live your life well

Aaahhh.....you capture so well the essence of prayer.....and also the urgency - we have a limited number of days, so we need to use them well. Have a look at the one I wrote while eating my McDonald breakfast this morning....:)
