To Turn

Wiley is a duck.
A patient duck.
A duck that lives in a jungle.
A jungle that was caught between two warring superpowers.
A jungle that used to have trees and berries, but now has ash storms and nuclear fallout.
Everything in the jungle is dead, and Life is never coming back.
Or maybe if Wiley just keeps waiting, Life will come back.
