love

love

A Poem by Cheng Yew,Chew

In the shell,

thou art the-

contagious desire-

of love that envelops-

my soul which dwells-

in the cave where the-

brute natives seal with-

fearful love i fall

No wasted words. You expressed emotion with compact poetry that is strong. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I was beautifully moved by this piece. It is a treasure of love and desire so simply put, but speaks volumes. Wonderful....

Love, virtue and punishment are experiences that often go hand in hand. There's a virtue, so powerful that, it can drive to destruction the love that is associated with it. Virtue can break a heart and render it into a state of despair. It can kill in a state of a bad conscience. A love that is free seeks to join mind and soul in an experience of itself with nothing else, save its own entertainment. A nice write!
