Laziness

Laziness

A Poem by Cheng Yew,Chew

'Poignantly,I'm digging,

digging with no full stop,

beneath the hanging clouds-

that camouflage the beauteous-

tiara in the heaven I seek for

within the forest dark.

Towards there,nothing-

can be seen hazily in this-

clime but the phantom who-

bores me away from digging-

the wisdom of apex makes-

its presence felt in this tract where-

filled to capacity with phenoms

besotted by the desires to earn, crave,

and fighting.

Paradoxes linked in laziness strain for a presecnce in this piece.

The tiara in heaven is a beautiful mind but not a mind of real physical achievement. The phantom slows down your digging to get you to think again about your objective. The practice of digging, the physical, is your training to the discovery of the really beautiful mind, in the world, for the future. An poem of deep introspection and meaning.

I like a lazy day to wander and discover. Your words took me to many good places. I like the visions create by the words in the poem.
"Towards there,nothing-
can be seen hazily in this-
clime but the phantom who-
bores me away from digging-
the wisdom of apex makes-"
Thank you for you amazing poetry.
