Why did I have to fall in Love with your heart?

Why did I have to fall in Love with your heart?

A Poem by Chemistry

Why did I have to fall in Love with your heart?
A lust for your sexy body can be justified
A lust for your beautiful soul knows no depth
Loving the person leaves no fear of being crucified

I would go through any pain or torture for your Love
This, I know because it is painful when we’re apart
I see your beauty from within and that’s what I focus on
It is your kindness and caring that grasps my heart

A time or two under the covers may quench the lust
Your essence and presence have replaced air that I breathe
Lust is but a desire not a required element I need to exist
The way you Love me and I Love you is like a tender reed

Why did I have to fall in Love with your heart?
For now it is not the exterior that I and the world see
It is the mother, the care giver, friend maker, and nurse
By being who you are is making a better man I want to be

The strangest thing of all that has come about this fall
Is that in the garden you’re God’s greatest lovely creation
That I can never pick, but weep as I draw near its radiance
Knowing that you exist brings me great admiration and elation

I visit god’s garden everyday and marvel at you bloom
And wonder why when others die your fragrance fills the room
In awe I water your petals and feed your roots amazed at how you grow
Stronger, longer, brighter, higher and softer your flowers flow

While others wilt and droop then die, your love spreads all around
In this garden your children nourished, by your love, can be found
I weed and feed and prune and clip and remove all that is not perfect
By waters edge and sun’s radiant rays the images your beauty reflect

Why did I have to fall in Love with your heart?
Because it was meant to be, I was place in your path to be your gardener you see
In times of need and when others hurt you I will care for you with TLC
Now it is clear, to fall in Love with your heart was always meant for me……….

Sublime love of another.. to fall for another sooo deeply and possibly unexpected as is usually the true course. I loved the rhythm, rhyme and flow. It felt flawlessly genuine with the observance of their abilities and that which surrounds them. Yourself becoming a gardener to water and watch them grow.. is the greatest gift love can bring.. and yes sometimes love is meant to be. Fantastic and well-penned. I fell in love with this story.. would be a blessing to have both hearts tend the gardens of one combined Eden.. I will wish on a star for you.

So very beautiful. I haven't read it in a very long time. Speechless.
