Disquiet my SoulA Poem by ChemicalMadnessAnother work in progress...
Sometimes
In this skin too tight In this suit The fit not quite The reflected me I study Not right I search on the outskirts of panic Racing to assemble The clues left long behind An overexposed photograph To unravel my mind It was once When it began Not in question It was in hand Not now In this here where it all fell In this how Still, it has come together - a puzzle all wrong The picture all Picasso - yet it belongs In the disquiet of my comfort I still search My heart beats its uncertain retort A beacon? A searchlight? The truth of a rocking chair on the front porch Begging my reply Are we home? © 2013 ChemicalMadnessReviews
