Hopeless Dreaming

Hopeless Dreaming

A Poem by Chelsea

It's stronger tonight, however I am not
This sadness weighs me down
I cannot lift myself up

I've been waiting for days...
but you're still no where to be found
Do you no longer care?
Have I lost my touch?
Oh, if I could touch you just once
Feel your skin on my senses

I'd melt into you and I would stick there forever
Slowly becoming a part of you
Molding my soul with yours
Our veins will course together
Our love will grow, too

Is this all hopeless dreaming?
Will my prince charming ever come?
Wist me away on his magical journey
Making love in golden meadows

I look down once more at the sea beneath my eyes
The reflection startles me instantly
Who is this person?
And why are her tears falling into my sea?
