Flames
Waving as the wind blows, like a mane on a horse as it runs, the flames move. Flowing high into the sky, seeming to never end. Red and yellow, orange and purple, they move, a danger that is unseen as it provides warmth to the cold. The flames provide entertainment at a campfire, or a romantic evening by the fireplace. Maybe a candlelit dinner or roasting a marshmallow until it catches on fire.
As the flames provide much good to mankind, they can also cause harm. Flames dance as burning houses fall to the ground. Fast, they spread through forests, destroying, consuming, anything that stands in their way. Countless lives lost to a burning building, or a house fire. As the fire destroys, it takes away memories, lives, and happiness, leaving only shreds of what once was.
