An Autumn photoshoot for a happy couple

Leaves fall from the trees

A brilliant swirl of colors

As the smell of fall

Fills the air around us

 

We are lying on the ground

Engulfed in the leaves

Kissing softly

Holding each other tightly

 

A camera shutter

Sounds all around us

Capturing this moment

Our everlasting love

 

We pay them no mind

Lost in each other

Lost in your eyes

In your hand on my chest

 

I am filled with your love

From your smile

Your touch

Your smell

 

You take over me completely

With your smooth skin

And your all knowing eyes

That see my very soul

 

I can’t stop myself

As the breeze blows softly

To whisper in your ear

“Marry Me”

 

And the camera’s shutter

Goes crazy at my words

Forever capturing

This moment in time

Author's Note

Something sweet for you guys. Hope you enjoy it. I love this time of year when it gets cold and you can start wearing sweaters. I love the colors, the smells, the atmosphere. The holidays are something I am dreading this year, but I can't stop myself from loving the world around me even if I don't want to right now.
