For Mom

A poem for my mom. She is going through hard times.

Times are hard

Things may not be going how they should

But through thick and thin

Through all the bad in this world

You will always have me

 

I will always be by your side

I will be your guiding light

You have given me life

Raised me right

And Always been there for me

 

The time to return the favor is now

I will be your rock

The person you can always talk to

The one to give you advice

Because you are my mom and you are loved

 

I love you mom

More than I could ever show

More than you will ever know

Because God blessed me with you

And I would never wish any different

 

So smile that beautiful smile of yours

And laugh even if you don’t want to

Because things will be ok

Things will all work out

And we will all be happy
