"My Sorrow"A Poem by Cheesecake CzarOld eighth grade poem.I think of it and I fall to the ground, bringing my heart to a slowing pound, My blood flows slow, it all goes cold, nothing I can do but try to hold, That's all I can do, that's all I can try, for I truly do not wish to die, I just wish I knew, what to do, just a way to see it through. My hole used to keep me safe and well, now that I'm away my life is hell, I try to endure, fake a smile, but that only helps a little while, So many things, cause my pain, and I'll soon be raving insane, I sit alone, sorrow untold, for no one truly understands my fold. Someday though, one will be found, I'll finally hear that trumpeting sound. Crystal angel, silver rain, save me now, I'm starting to wane, In swamps of sorrows I do wade, please help me soon before I fade, Glorious jewel, never vain, pick me up and keep me sane, As I wait, as I cope, I'm left with my sorrow and my hope. © 2011 Cheesecake Czar |

Writing, for me, is more often than not an outlet for any emotions I may have. I'd love to practice it more than I do .. more..Writing
