Heart Broken

I wrote this 2/13/09 when my friend betrayed me and started dating my bestfriend and long time crush

My heart is broken, and I became outspoken.

I hate her, I just want to break her.

She stole you, I hate you too.

She didn't tell me, how could she?

I worked hard to be with you, she smiled and had you.

My heart lies in pieces on the floor, as you walk out of my hearts door.

I can't breathe as I cry, and I try to hide.

She smirks at me making me want to hit her, I hate her and confront her.

I try to make things right, because I don't want to fight.

I'd rather you be happy, than me be happy.

I try to be mature, but I can't when I think of her.

I'm just that girl who would rather you be happy , than force you into a relationship with me to make me happy.

I hope you love her, and I'm trying not to hate her.

Tears run down my face, trace her lace with gentleness I never saw.

My heart is broken. Shattered on the floor in a million pieces.
