An ode to a Bright Autumn DayA Poem by CheekyChocoInspired by a summery day in autumn. The autumn trees do start to burn a gold, Amid the brilliant tropic blue above. Its crisping leaves do leave a burn untold, An earthly song forever meant for love. What heat does the day do deserve to bring, In maddened hearts like beating berry trees. Such burst of red is hurting hearts that ping, With yearns for love from souls that now can see. Oh season change is not a sight to like, All clear and pure like childhood dreams of good. Oh autumn bright the burning caused to sight, A welcomed sight by many brash in love. The glint of autumn burns a gold to man, A lie that sold a dream that fades to sand. © 2020 CheekyChocoAuthor's Note
