Feminine Irony !A Poem by Shakti ChaturvediIt'll speak for itself.Brought up gently like a flower Day by day she grew mature Beauties of life she adored Lost her parents in her teens Got exposed to social demeans Left her town in search of work Ended trapped in worldly quirk Gaze of men were full of lust Women never easily trust Prior life was rolling in amuse Tables turned and life abuse Cried
aloud for life is vain Entirely shattered wept in pain Starved sick craving to live Tears and curses only to give No one came to lend a hand This provoked a lethal blend Left her life on the roadside Freed herself from the cruel stride Her spirit still wanders around Striving to know her death ground Haunts fake feminists and all the
girls With vague mindset but cute curls The poltergeist was angry Roaring hell at debauchery Unable to find out the culprit Atrociously many necks she slit Even after taking lots of lives Fire of vengeance didn't die Out of rage stayed in disguise Now in the face of cowardice Gradually it entered inside every girl Whom she deemed utterly responsible Since then she’s taking revenge She gets pleased when girls cringe Be it dowry be it rape She enjoys every grape She smiles when a girl cries She dances when a girl dies © 2014 Shakti ChaturvediAuthor's Note
