Sometimes you just know

Sometimes you just know

A Poem by Chassitie Linnaea Nicole Snow
"

poetry

"
sometimes you just know by the feeling,
that you should be with a person

but then again life nevers lets you get it easy

stepping outside you comfort zone, you see
you and that person were never meant to be
love doesnt ever come easy

for now its just me.

along the road there comes the inevitable,
the fork giving you two decisions

right or left?

you were never told that such things could truly be

to pick just one

go one way and never look back

either holds a differnt path
one that stretches out so far

making it impossible to return to it all

choose once, choose one, choose wisely

for you may never get a second chance

Your emotions ring very clear in this piece. "I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference."

I find it to be a good thing when I find a piece here that sets my mind ablaze with the lines of the great classic works we've all grown up reading. Great ink and let us know where your chosen path leads you :o)

"either holds a different path

I loved those lines. So very true... And it sucks when you get further down the road and realize that you don't really like the choice you made. Its too late to change it at that point.

"choose once, choose one, choose wisely

for you may never get a second chance"

Wise words indeed. Very nicely written poem.

I like it, very simple though. Those choices can be hard to be wise about. "you were never told that such things could truly be"-- Love that line a lot.

Yes those forks are such difficult decisions to make. Sometimes fate just makes them for you, those are the most difficult forks to endure. Thanks for sharing.

An excellent piece that takes a long look at the irreversibility of bad decisions. I like how the flow seems kinda back and forth between smooth and choppy - much like the decision making process.
