i finally realized that i have found my diamond in the rough
i have searched many years, i have never gave up

my heart has been holding on, it'll never let you go
it knows that i'll never find some one like you

my heart registered what my eyes
simply cannot see

it knows that you are truly the perfect match for me

when i met you it seemed like i was waiting for you all along
i have waited so long, and i'll wait forever more


the days shift to nights
and the nights s**t to days

and my feelings for you
they never change

no matter where i am
no matter who i am with

i look at them and i see you there

this feeling isnt marked
with the tiniest claim of uncertainty

because i know my heart isnt lying
you are truly the one for me
