Farewell (My Apologies)

Farewell (My Apologies)

A Poem by paradoxical
"

an old one from 2004. Oh, the drama.

"

I've never really cared what happens,
'cause to me it's all the same.
There are things from which
you cannot hide,
and they all end in pain.

But I'm sorry that I hurt you.
I'm sorry that you cried.
I'm sorry that I thought
I could do good for once,
'cause I failed and you paid the price.

And I'm so damn sorry.
Goodbye.

This is a fine poem, reminds me a bit of Jealous Guy by John Lennon, it has the same power and simplicity, good work.
