Endings

Endings

A Poem by paradoxical
"

How do you say goodbye to an empty room?

"

It's stupid, really.

Little things remind me.

In my memories,

you are still alive.

Sometimes I forget.

I'm the type of person

that hates endings.

I didn't use to be,

but suddenly

I have to skip

the last few pages

because I have learned

some knowledge

is pain.

Even now

in my memories

you are still alive,

and so sometimes

I forget.

It's always a little thing

that reminds me

and then

I am losing you

all over again.

Grief is something you only understand once you experience it yourself. I felt your words very deeply. Nice job.
