“And then we can be forgiven by the ones we love and care for, I can’t help but think though how I wished I had cared for them more” The ladies looked up. It was Timothy. Timothy knelt down in front of his wife, “If only I kept my mind on you, I would’ve been good to you to.” He reached for Sarah’s hand but she snatched away, “You’re my everything, I love you more than life itself, forgive me for spending those minutes just thinking of myself.” Tisha and Mindy started to hum along with his voice, “Ohhhh you know I can’t live without you! I couldn’t even if I tried to!” Sarah stood over her husband, “The old me has died and I’m able to be better, it’s all over and there’s no more stormy weather…” Mindy and Tisha still hummed, eyes closed at how beautiful everyone’s voice was. Timothy reached in his back pocket and pulled out a ring, “Remarry me baby, I’ll do you right and good this time, please let me know that you’ll always be mines.” Sarah looked over at Tisha and Mindy then back down at him. “Oh Tim…” Mindy stood up, “Sarah, you and I both know that Timothy is a good man, we haven’t done anything for a few months now.” Sarah glanced at Timothy to get some assurance and he slowly nodded his head. “Sarah, don’t you see what God has done? He wants you and Timothy to be together. Your marriage is the church’s favorite because everyone saw how much in love you all were!” Trust Tisha to always be the glue to stick broken things back together. Mindy stepped over to hug her friend, “Girl you know I love you!” Tisha got up and hugged them both. “I forgive you…both.” It was then after she said that, that the sky light glowed even brighter. “God to has not only forgiven but forgot” Tisha whispered.
Sarah sat on the bed holding the ring. She sneaked a peak at Timothy talking to the pastor. They were in counseling and she wasn’t posed to know about anything they were saying and vice versa for a project he had them doing. Sarah really enjoyed the counseling and almost felt that they didn’t even need it. God had told her that the feeling of being in the clouds than lower then dirt was so that their marriage could be even better. They talked more now, they were happier. Her and Timothy discussed things they felt they couldn’t before. She learned that he was having an affair because she wasn’t really being his wife anymore. Sarah and Mindy are still best friends and Mindy even goes to her house to see her sometimes. Really everyone, all their family and friends had put it behind, it isn’t even spoken of anymore. The only memory the 4 of them share is that, that is the day when Jesus lit up again.
