Giant Meteor 2016

Giant Meteor 2016

A Poem by Chase Weik
"

Well no matter what happens we are basically screwed. Might as well have some fun while this election has some comedic value left. Got the idea from a bumper sticker. Ironic.

"

When I went to vote down in the town hall

My choice was so clear, yet I stood appalled

I searched the ballot that I was given

Started to think my option was hidden

“Could I get some help?” I called from my booth

Someone from the front walked my direction

“Are these ballots rigged? Just give me the truth.

Can’t find my guy for this year's election!”

“Please calm down sir. Who are you looking for?”

They had to be kidding. They've gotta know.

“Where in the hell is Giant Meteor?”

If I can’t vote for him, might as well go.

They kicked me out, that’s the fourth one since noon

No matter who wins America’s doomed
