A Lifes CycleA Poem by Charming Rivers
The clouds Thick with rain Provide balance for my unstable emotions Lightly Small drops begin to fall From the sky And from my eyes. A little bit of crystal blue Peaks out between the heavy clouds The hope I hold so delicately And so dear. The tree branches jostle the leaves As the wind stirs Freeing them to cascade gently toward the ground. I watch and feel a sense of comfort Nature is continuously dying and giving birth to new life. This gives me strength For I am part of this circle I too will succeed. The sun’s rays peak through the clouds And I smile. © 2008 Charming Rivers |
