A Lifes Cycle

A Lifes Cycle

A Poem by Charming Rivers

The clouds

Thick with rain

Provide balance for my unstable emotions

Lightly

Small drops begin to fall

From the sky

And from my eyes.

A little bit of crystal blue

Peaks out between the heavy clouds

The hope I hold so delicately

And so dear.

The tree branches jostle the leaves

As the wind stirs

Freeing them to cascade gently toward the ground.

I watch and feel a sense of comfort

Nature is continuously dying and giving birth to new life.

This gives me strength

For I am part of this circle

I too will succeed.

The sun’s rays peak through the clouds

And I smile.

About
I have been writing since I was 7. I would love to get published someday. I write poetry, fiction, and I am trying to dabble in some autobiography type of work, but that's a slow process. I have an A.. more..
