Day One of You

Memoirs, really.

September 6, 2013 marked the beginning of a love-fest we knew nothing of,
Only that it was indeed inspired only by God above.
A soft "Hi" flew from your heart and on to the blue and white filled screen,
Reaching its desired destination. . .the lioness in me.

A spicy "Hello" followed with a challenge soon to come,
Propelling the conversation of our hearts in the way ordained by the Head of the Kingdom.
Then, of course, our minds clicked as our words caressed the keys,
Building what would be a steady foundation; faster than one would believe.

Day one of you marked the day that my love for God exploded,
Just by seeing the fact that He delivered on a bargain I willfully noted.
You see, I promised Him a new level of worship and devotion if He delivered to me,
A man who He deems fit. . . to truly make me happy.

Day one of you marked day one of me too. . . standing firm in your life,
Being the one to stick with you in your guided walk in the light.
