A New Light..

as the title suggests...

Time waits for no one, it's stated..

Change is inevitable..that can't be debated..

Life unfolds in the most unpredictable of ways..

Some things are lost forever..not everything stays..

So what's the best thing you can do in this plight?..

Focus on finding a new light.

Positivity is key if you want to make it far in this life..

Try your best to obliterate strife..

Take the necessary measures to cast your burdens to one side..

That way you can enjoy the ride..

But contrary to popular belief, life is not a game..

You can only live it once, despite what others claim..

Find your new light, learn to accept happiness in its many forms..

But by now you'll find that when negativity finds you it's like that one bee that swarms..

If it's one thing I can say is that it worked for me..

And thankfully, my God can agree..

Because in the midst of strife and tension I've found newness in an ancient light..

A newness that brings forth so much delight..

Don't worry about changing for others to see..

Do it for yourself and you'll see how happy you can be..

Refocus your life and establish yourself too..

And realize that in this newness, there's so much you can do..

I've found joys and peace that I never knew could be found..

No more overwhelming darkness, my dear, 'cause I'm on solid ground..
