This is our song

I wrote this for my friends.

I love the way we hold each other up when we’re down,

We make each other smile through our anguish and our frowns

When we thought we were alone we were not on our own

We’ve walked through the storms and watched how we’ve grown

 

We’ve been our strengths we’ve been our weaknesses

We’ve been our tears and we’ve been our clowns

Never letting go never letting the hurt show

We’ve braved the sunshine we’ve weathered the storms

We’ve come out winners we’ve become strong.

This is where we belong

 

We’ve found our place in the sun a new place we begun

New memories we have spun weaving through the heartbreak.

All our problems and those silly mistakes,

We’ve walked along those stony paths and survived the aftermath.

 

We’ve got nothing to lose it’s so easy now we walk side by side

When you’re blinded I’ll be your guide

When I’m weak you be my shoulder to cry on

There’s no more being on our own when we’re together we don’t walk alone.
