The Wedding RingA Poem by CharmsI wrote this to get my message across to an acquaintance (woman) who couldn't accept the fact that I am married to an extremely wonderful man.One may not wear the wedding ring, Coz it does not prove anything; What the heart and mind both feel, Words will seldom ever reveal.
Who are we to intervene, When we cannot see the unseen? A couple’s love so deep and pure, Even a blind man couldn't ignore.
Beneath the flawed surface lies; A truth that cannot be denied, This friendship, patience and loyalty, That’s etched in the heart for all eternity.
