I wish to ignore the noisy confusion of the stars,
To flounder in the depths of his universe, unnoticed;
To taste the tears on my lover's lips,
and lick the salt of his sorrow...
To give strength to the walls of devotion,
and beat strong in my lover's heart...
~A thousand times bursting~
I will be the one to steal his breath...
The stars aren't noisy - what's confusing about the stars? solid clear consistent...
Unnoticed unseen afraid alone in the depths of overwhelming size...that I get...
Soothing a lover fine - tasting tears on his lips.. is that sexuality combined with sadness and empathy?
I love the language and the words and how they are put together but the meaning, the truth the honesty ... I think it's lost and replaced with pretty words.
I think you need not wish upon a star in this consideration of love.
Reading such words does captivate the soul and capture the breath of this reader. I should think any man worthy of the love held in the soul of such a poet would be yours.
I like how you know a lover's heart needs to have your kisses and affection to keep his devotion strong. This is not a weakness, but it is the nature of humanity to seek our needs in those who strengthen our souls... Devoted lovers happen when two souls continue to meet the needs of the other in selfless empathy and care. It is when one or both stop giving, the heart weaken and burst with true desire to feel life. Thus the heart must act with selfish intentions to survive... This is how we work.
Yes, I think you will be the one, but it will not be stolen. You can never steal what is given freely to be yours.
Lovely poetry and a wish I know will come true.
I'm a romantic at heart, here to express myself through my work...I write for me. I welcome others to read. I look forward to learning and sharing thoughts, through poetry and stories. :)
