Winter Queen

In the spirit of winter...

Whispering wind, be still…to listen,
from a distance the voice of an angel sings,
floating in the air, her frosted breath glistens,
a mist of gentle hymns cover the ethereal night,
weaving her winter reverie…
everywhere, sprinkling diamonds of ice,
dusting the wings of an icicle fairy,
the Winter queen comes to life.

Very wintery and cold, I can feel the ice. I get a nice ethereal feeling from this, there are good parts to the winter, but I do look forward to the spring.
