NatureA Poem by CharlotteBeauty. The soft amber haze coated the moors in a fairytale light, It's curves rounded and high. The place seemed dead, almost ghost like, As the whispers of the winter wind circled and echoed, Turned and twisted. Coming to life as the flowers arched down to the shattered remains of grass, Hollow and empty splayed across the ground. The well known smell of fresh rain, Its showers dancing around the moor tops like tiny tip toes. The sun creeping through the mazed clouds, Opening and wondering together in a circle. The sounds of flickering leaves and dropping snow, Sparkling like tiny silver stars present on the paths that we walk. The feel of harsh winds and whirling trees, As they collapse together, when the wind stops blowing.
