Thespian Tales

Thespian Tales

A Poem by Charlie Hawthorne

Close my eyes

And turn the key

Lock me in

The world I'll see

All that glitters

Is not gold

Except in here

With Secrets I hold

Legends and myths

Spirits abound

They all are truth

In this world I've found

Subject to the

Stories I spin

Lyrics to

The song I sing

Time moves painfully slow

Or rapidly fast

My eyes begin to stir

I wish they would last.
