A Poem by Charlie.

I know you like I know the smell of fresh cut grass in the middle of winter, like I know the way the sky looks right before the thunder booms even when the sun is shining brightly, the way the rain sounds bouncing off the roof of the car even when I'm laying in bed.

Your radiant voice vibrating in your throat soothes the anxiety in me, calms the tides of impatience that rush over me. I know one day you will press your palms against my cheeks and gently kiss my forehead and tell me it was worth waiting for. I know one day I will fall asleep in your arms and forget that I ever knew a life without you, that I ever anxiously wondered if you really existed. I know that never again will I be missing you as much as I do right now.

Though we have not yet met.

I loved the way you described everything in this part here.
