Communication Lost

Communication Lost

A Poem by Charlie.

I'm so tired of the static
don't you know, it's killing me
I'm so tired of scratching that door
I smiled to him but he's still off

I'm so bored waiting others connection
two hearts would never beat as one
world wired, world tired
click here, click there, click me

I'm afraid of the media
you see? You can't count me on
I'm so tired of never-profiles
I hope it just can turn really off.

...disconnected, please dial again

Interesting imagery, and great to see a poem dealing with modern technology, and the feeling of DISCONNECT it can leave a person with. I especially like the line, "click here, click there, click me" because it really captures that feeling of everything demanding our attention as internet consumers.
