I just wanna Run

I just wanna Run

A Poem by Charley Dominic

I just wanna Run,
Kick up sand,
Under a foreign sun,
Just Run, in a different land,

I just wanna feel Free,
Feel the cold wind,
Blowing in from the sea,
Not to feel Trapped,
Stuck in secondary imagining,
Waiting until im verily Snapped,

I just wanna Run,
Kick up sand,
Under a foreign sun,
Just Run, in a different land,

I just wanna throw Away,
All that ive gained,
So far in my cumulative day,
Grab a bag and Disappear,
Walk off on a summer morning,
To far across this inhabited sphere,

I just wanna Run,
Kick up sand,
Under a foreign sun,
Just Run, in a different land,

I just wanna Run....

This sounds like it could be a great song. Again, well written and nicely done. I love it!

I really like this poem and I agree with Phalen Schuyler. You wrote something that I believe a lot of people would be able to connect with. Great writing and great poem! :)

I understand this feeling, that you'd just like to slip away, escape from it all. Being in the same place with the same people every day can start to take it's toll.
