Kicking Around

Kicking Around

A Poem by Charley Dominic

Walk past you in the corridor,
Your eyes seem glued to the floor,
Whilst mine stare you down,
Questioning why I'm the old clown,
Reminiscing the wild old days,
When we set Ben's hand ablaze,
Crept onto the golf mark,
Played manhunt in the dark,
Charged down 'Bear,
The days we were unaware,

Pratted about with fire,
Tied Luke's legs with wire,
Prank calls to 118 118,
Great dares we'd debate,
Swung jack across the stream,
We were a great team,
I'm better off without you guys,
For stupidity we won the prize,
So now i kick around with better friends,
But that doesn't mean i wont remember it til the end,
