In Summers Soft Blue Sky

 

In summers soft blue sky,
Lays a soft, dozy cloud,
Blended with jet-streams from passing planes,
Holding with in it autumns rains,

The heat revealing the beauty the shadows hold,
When the sun sets the coolness descends,
In the red water coloured sky,
The stars are visible to the eye,

A final farewell,
To the soft blue sky,
Where children's eyes lie,
Up there free, in the soft blue sky. . .
