Out, out over the moor,
Desperate, desperate for shelter,
Craving life, needing freedom,
Running, running faster than life,

Through, through a river,
Swimming, swimming for safety,
Craving life, needing freedom,
Up, up the bank and over,

In, in to the wood,
Climbing, climbing for redemption,
Craving life, needing freedom,
Jump, Jump down,

Panting, panting now,
Tired, oh so tired,
Craving life needing freedom,
Falling, falling in faint,

Hitting, hitting the ground,
Roll, roll over, Strength gone,
Craving life, needing freedom,
Push, push up, dragging feet onwards,

Dragging feet away from evasion,
towards freedom,
