RECLINING

RECLINING

A Poem by C. M. Miller
"

A reworded personal favorite of mine.

"

Silky ribbons of her obsidian hair cover my chest.

Her sweet breath tickles my nose.

Idly, she hums a languid tune . . .

the vibrations of her melody warms the

night air . . . her kisses flutter like a

butterfly on my cheek.

My mind soars along on the thermals

she’s created for us . . .  our wings,

warmed by the sun, never tire.

Sing on my beautiful Monarch,

sing on.

What to put about a near perfect poem: beautiful, magic, memorable; every word exquisite but, this tingles mind and heart, . 'the vibrations of her melody warms the ~ night air '

So hope the song continues ..

Hm... first I like this stone (obsidian) and this evocated great images in my head, so she had ...dark hair, dark like the forest deep, for lava obsidian wasn't formed through crystalization, yes? so it would be.. this image... This is truly so beautiful: you describe just a moment, what happened in few seconds in reality...and you pour your love into our ears and eyes.. I read loud now.. and of your 2,3,4 seconds with your beloved, almost.. fragile, platonic love-like...moment - there is hope and essential goodness of adoring her.
