Chapter 2: Love in the Air?

Chapter 2 of my KH story, Does Love Rise The Dead?

 

I was lying in my bed, my limps still sore from my training. I rolled over… and there was Xion! I freaked out, rolled off my bed and hit the floor face first.

 

I sat up on my knees and rested my arms on my bed and my head on my arms.

 

“What are you doing here!?” I whispered at her.

 

“Oh, sorry, I snuck in last late after everyone went to sleep…” She whispered back.

 

“Well why’d you come to my room? You have your own room don’t you?” I said.

 

“Yeah, I do but I know Roxas goes in there every day to look at it.” She said back.

 

“Hmmm, yeah that could be a problem.” I said back to her.

 

“It’s okay; you can hide out in here until you decide to show yourself to everyone else.” I said to her.

 

I stretched out, and grabbed a towel, some underwear, and a tight-fitting black t-shirt. I started walked to the bathroom, I stopped right before I went into the door.

 

“Hey, I’m gonna go take a shower.” I said to her.

 

“Oh, okay.” She said back.

 

She looked over at me and giggled.

 

“What?” I asked her.

 

“I just noticed how horribly messed up your hair is.” She said.

 

I walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror.

 

“Holy crap! Your right it is a mess!” I said from the bathroom.

 

I then closed the door and turned on the water, putting it to as hot as I could stand. I sat down in the back of tub and turned on the showerhead.

 

I was only in the bathroom for only a few minutes when I heard the door open and footsteps come in and then I heard someone sit on the toilet, not of if they were using it, just as if they were sitting on the lid.

 

“Xion?” I asked.

 

“Yeah, it’s me.” She said back.

 

“What, you wanna talk about something?” I asked.

 

“Y…yeah, that’s it.” She said back

 

Then she began.

 

“So how has Roxas been? I mean does he remember me?” She asked.

 

“Well yeah, of course he does.” I answered.

 

“Does… he… love me?” She asked.

 

“Well, yeah of course he does.” I said.

 

A few seconds later I realized what she meant.

 

“Ummm, oh I’m sorry, but… not like that, the way he talks your more like a sister to him, and besides he’s already kinda in a relationship with Namine.” I said.

 

“Oh… that’s okay; I kinda like you a little.” She said.

 

I reddened at this. And I’m kinda shocked a little; I’ve never met a girl that goes straight out with her feelings.

 

“Hmmm, is that so? That’s kinda odd; I’ve never met a girl who’s straight out with her feelings.” I said.

 

“Yea, well now you have.” She said back to me.

 

“So, you know me two days and where a couple now just like that?” I asked.

 

“Pretty much, yeah.” She said with a giggle.

 

Then I just realized, she had been sitting in here talking to me… while in naked in the shower!

 

“Hey, umm, Xion… Could I finish up my shower?” I asked.

 

“Oh… yeah of course! Sorry.” She said.

 

I heard her walk out of the room and the door closed.

 

I slumped down in the tub. God… just like that Xion’s my girlfriend?

Hehe, crazy world?

 

…Out of the bathroom…

 

I walked out of the bathroom to see Xion sitting there with her hands in her lap waiting for me to come out.

 

“So, you wanna go out to Twilight Town?” I asked.

 

“Oh, sure lets go.” She said.

 

We started walking out, then it hit me… We don’t have any ‘normal’ clothes to wear! All we have is the organization robes.

 

“Hey, umm Xion…” I said.

 

“Yeah? What is it?” She asked.

 

“We don’t have any clothing except our organization robes…” I said.

 

“Oh…crap… your right!” She said with a frown on her face.

 

“You know what? Let’s just lay around in my bed.” I said.

 

Xion reddened at this.

 

“Yeah, sure, we can just do that all day.” She giggled.

 

I just stayed as I was and Xion stripped to her underwear and undershirt, we just laid there in my bed cuddling for what seemed like hours.

 

“Ohh Xion, you’re so warm.” I said

 

She giggled.

 

“How long you think where going to be together?” She asked.

 

“I hope for a very long, long time.” I said.

 

Those words echoed in my head, I really did hope we’d be together for a long time, even though we really just met our relationship has really boomed.

 

…A few hours later…

 

I heard sobbing, my eyes where hazy from sleeping. I looked over and seen Xion with her face in her knees crying. I reached over and stroked her back, she flinched at this.

 

“Honey, what’s wrong?” I asked.

 

“It’s… it’s… it’s-“She stopped there and threw herself onto my chest and started crying.

 

I kinda started freaking out there. Maybe something horrible happened when she was ‘gone’…

 

“What’s wrong? Like seriously? What is wrong?” I asked.

 

“I um… well-“ She started.

 

“You...?” I asked.

 

She continued, “Where I was… it was horrible! I was in pitch darkness constantly… I was never really afraid of the dark… but god you’d better believe I am now!”

 

“I hated it so much, I don’t ever want to go back, I don’t even want to think about it…” She sobbed out.

 

I pushed her up to eye level and then pulled her to me and kissed her lightly while holding her in a tight grip. I moved my head back and had my forehead to hers.

 

“You don’t have to go back, you don’t need to even think of it you’re safe now.” I whispered.

 

I pulled her tight to me and held her.

 

I whispered in her ear, “Xion, I love you, I truly do. I’ve never really been in relationships, I’ve usually been a loner, sure I always had a lot of friends but never really got into relationships like what we have.

 

“I love you too Xarch, I really do.” She whispered back.

 

So here I am, with my new love, she had told me a major story, that chilled my spine, and I’ve come to know, I love her, I really do, there’s nothing else to think about I’m truly in love.

 

“We really gotta leave the room in a few hours and tell everyone that your back and we should probably tell ‘em about our relationship.” I said

 

She took my hands and placed them on her stomach and placed her hands on my arms and looked up at me.

 

“Yeah, in a few hours, this is nice I like just laying here with here.” She said.

 

I looked at my phone, its only 9:00 AM, wow it really is? God it’s still so early, I guess we got a few hours to kill then.
