Good Riddance

Good Riddance

A Poem by Chaotickitty

Dancing in intricate patterns,

the leaves fall and tangle in my hair.

Tears pour from my eyes,

Staining my new gown.

You've left me.

You've left me all alone,

To bask in the guilt of a past crime,

Only you were accused.

I guess i should be guilty,

Endure the highest scorn of hell itself,

But like humans do,

I wish to free myself from all guilt, and live freely without blame, as the gentle breeze does.

So i ask for your forgiveness,

As the tears dry up,

I ask that you don't hold it against me,

That i payed my debt of grievance,

In a matter of five minutes.
