Sorrow Invades

Sorrow Invades

A Poem by Chaotickitty

Memories creep from the farthest points of my mind.

Rehashing and enhancing themselves.

Shaping, molding, stretching.

New endings, answers, and movements.

Devastation, now inevitable.

Regret a constant haze on my life.

I begin to wonder, do they remember the pain I caused them, Be it trivial or not?

Or, have they chosen to forget them, as I did?

My long forgotten memories, have carved a hole through their concrete cell, and are now running a monk, visiting quite frequently.

The overall sense of undesired presence, never phasing them.

Oh how joy encircles them, as they unfairly torture me, several at a time.

I lie there, enduring the torment.

I want to mend the concrete wall, lock them away again, but the undying truth of the matter is, that I deserve it.

Every blow, every scar, every tear.

All actions have consequences
