Fear

Fear

A Poem by Chaotica
"

Done in creative writing class.

"

Tick-tock,
heart stops,
throat closes,
eyes sewn shut.

No scream,
can't move,
sweat falls,
wish I knew a prayer.

If god was real,
would he hear me?
Where have all the angels gone?
They fled from the scene.

Glass in rainbow pudddles
painted where the sky should be.
Stars twinkle below me,
gold bullet holes in an inky night.

Feel heat,
eyes open,
fire blazes,
mind burst into flames

                                 along with me.

Skin peeling,
too much head to shed a tear,
darkness, where are you?

      Finally, I scream

                    too late.

Oh, how this creates much imagery with so little wording! Outstanding accomplishment!

"If god was real,
would he hear me?
Where have all the angels gone?
They fled from the scene"

Can, without doubt, connect with this thought! Excellent!
