Love Don't Leave

Love Don't Leave

A Poem by Kristee

Love don't leave
stay the night
wrap me in your arms
drown me in your warmth.

Heart beating lullabies
stop the path of time
whispers soft as velvet
hover in the candlelight.

Hear the rain dancing in the streets
smell the ocean of rose petals
see the stars in my eyes as I give you my love
taste of each kiss melting on our lips
feel of reality becoming a dream.

Love don't leave
stay forever
blanketed in senses of the night
until the blackbird flies in with
ribbons of the sunrise.

Nice imagery in this soft, sensual write.
"feel of reality becoming a dream." A wonderful expression.
