Soul Sealed WastelandA Poem by CrimsonShinigamiMany experiences for those who drew the short strawSitting all alone shivering in the dark People walk by and think I ain't going to be like that Not knowing the true meaning of misery is something that can be forgiven for not all can feel what we are experiencing No one wants to welcome those with open arms They lose themselves to drugs, weed, gambling or drinking Unable to face reality We humans are fragile and yet we have a high ranking society who says that the weak must be eliminated who told us that our world we live in is the untamed wild that its steal from or be stolen Many have lost hope but some still cling to what's left of their lives Lives are just there to give us a good time These days people look back into the past where their lives were perfect until they ruined it and it had been shattered to pieces Everyday is h*ll for them the passing moments are an endless decade The swamp is where the people had given up They don't want to come back out This sin we carry is for all to bear even those who did nothing © 2014 CrimsonShinigamiAuthor's Note
