Nightmare

This time I’ll win

This time will be your last

As I sharpen my blade making it as sharp as broken glass

My sword shines with delight

You stare into my eyes in fear

As you cry your pathetic tears

I untie you

Let you go

You look more afraid

Yet curious

I laugh saying I’m playing

It was all a joke

As you laugh warily

Its Halloween I say

Yet you start

Thinking I’m up to something

Then after a hour of talking

You’re reassured

Positive I’m not going to kill you

You laugh as you tell me about your past

I smile at last

You get comfortable

 As I tell you mines

Not leaving out any pennies or dimes

You leave with shock

We get married a year later

And it’s Halloween

Then you think about that day

And is glad that first impressions aren’t the same

As the seconds tick by

You sleep with your head wondering about

Thinking about that little doubt

Then you realize what you did was a mistake

You jump up as you hear a sound of fate

You listen as you hear your child scream

Hoping it was only a bad dream

But when you get into the child’s room

You feel sore

Cause you see him dead on the floor

You fall to your knees as you scream

You’re hoping it’s only a dream

You wake up in sweat as you hear a small muffle of a cry

Thinking oh no it’s my time to die

All you worry about is your child

Hoping at least he’ll have a tomorrow

You jump up running to his room

Fearing the doom

He cries as you wake him up

You grasp him putting him in the car telling him to be quiet and not to be seen

He gets scared and asks a million of questions

Asking where is his daddy?

You tell him to forget about him and he cries

His my daddy

You cannot lie

Will he hurt his own son?

Or leave him alone?

You walk back into the house into the kitchen

Terrified of what might come

You get the long butcher knife

Try to save your life

You feel hands wrap around you

You scream in fear

I tell you to shhh it’s alright

Yet you try to fight

You struggle trying to break free

I try to calm you down of your fear

Telling you there is no need for tears

You stop and think

As you see me call someone

The next day a cop comes

You panic

They take you to a hospital

You than realized what I did and get angry

You realized all I wanted was your baby

Knowing I’ll turn him into a monster like me

Now you struggle to get free

You yell trying to explain what is going on

But they tell that you are wrong

You then over the weeks blame it on yourself

Then deciding you failed

You take the rope and hang it up from the room

Choke yourself and die with pain

You wake up in Sweat and fear

Thinking about what you just did hear

You walk towards your son’s room seeing him sleep with his teddy bear

Then you realize it was all a Nightmare.
