Silence Speaks

Silence Speaks

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

Silence speaks loudly...........

"

Moments full of thoughts
live inside
the spiderwebs running through my mind
they are colder than the brick
of my will.
Like the gates of a carnival
never tell the answer
to their riddles
so my thoughts
walk.........
with no favor of you still.

Vast lengths of my attention
have been ringing through time
and unraveling
into problems with every second
passing by.
Yet,
the silence
I write across these pages
says more about how I feel
than you know
or care........
to recognize.
.
.
.

. ohhhh ... this is a stunning piece of poetry, dear neva ... it's just so moving and soulful ... yet powerful and assertive too ... indeed silence speaks ... and the brevity of this piece conveys the mood of that silence ... "the spiderwebs running through my mind" is my favourite image ...

And when do words ever truly say enough? I believe that this poem speaks for itself.
I shall say no more beyond that. My silence speaks.

Asking about a problem seems to be the right thing to do, but there are times where words cant compare to a pair of arms open wide to fall into. This feels like one of those moments.

Sometimes silence says more about how we feel about someone than any words can--and it's always more impactful too. With my closest friends and relations, it's like that sometimes. Silences have all kinds of eloquence and meaning, from terrifyingly cold to warm and secure to bleak and mistrustful. Oftentimes the greatest healing words for a friend are a calm silence. That's what I like about this poem--it shows that truth very well.

There are no doors to a carnival,only a gate.I'm a carny.
The poem is brilliant and well written.I love the stir of emotion.Writing silence means more than words.

As your synapses fire and move across the page, so does those of every reader and as yours fire they translate that flame across miles and bounderies. Superb craftsmanship that just serves to remind people. You're in a class of your own
