The Deepest Blue

The Deepest Blue

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

I stand alone on this canvas of the starkest white midnight blue from love's palette of hues..............

"

You lovingly painted me the deepest shade of blue

Softly wrapped me in a frame of golden hue
From the very first day you walked into my life
You painted me in your picture, without you

I stood alone on a canvas of the starkest white
Such a radiant speck of deepest blue
Smiling as you painted my heart into your hands
I watched from this picture without you

I am your masterpiece, one of a kind
Your own lovely creation of design to view
Forever to stand in the lonely halls of your flame
So hopelessly in love...with you

I stand alone on this canvas of the starkest white
Midnight blue from love's palette of hues
You can find me here in this picture without you
They call me......, "The Deepest Blue"

time can be a friend, it can also dim the brilliance of fond memories. that is why i believe in putting our happiest and saddest moments or experiences into verse or some other form of art. you have captured this very well with "the deepest blue"
once again you have touched a part of me with your art, thank you for sharing

We all get entagled in the jungle vines of romantic fantasy. But is it true or simply a myth we weave to help us survive pain?

As beautiful as this is, it seems sad as well. To be standing alone rather than with the one you love, almost as if on a pedestal. Still, it is nice to be loved. I really like this.
